EDSTAR Analytics, Inc.®, is a woman-owned, private firm specializing in evaluation of grant-funded programs, professional development to build data-use capacity, resources to support grant writing, support for understanding how to use research to inform decisions, and streamlining data collection.
EDSTAR, Inc. has been incorporated and evaluating grant-funded programs since January 2000. Prior to that, EDSTAR operated as a sole proprietor doing program evaluations from 1993 through 2000. Edstar has conducted evaluations of federal, state, and local programs, including but not limited to:

After decades of working with grant-funded programs, the sister company, EDSTAR Analytics, Inc. was formed to offer our resources and support to build school districts’ capacities for implementing data-driven plans for accountability and to identify effective practices.
Providing both respected national leadership in teacher education and trusted evaluation services, President of EDSTAR Analytics, Dr. Lee V. Stiff and CEO, Dr. Janet Johnson, are well-qualified to implement an accountability framework to support continuous improvement and document the effectiveness of the programs and practices.
